Arizona Doubles the Charitable Tax Credit Limit
Well done Arizona! On May 6, 2016, the governor signed the bill SB 1216 which doubles the tax credit limit amounts for the Charitable Organization Tax Credit. The limits have now increased to $400 for individuals and $800 for couples filing jointly.

This change is retroactively effective to January 1st, 2016. See official policy updates here:

So what does this mean?  You can now support twice as many families when donating to AZA United, which qualifies for the dollar-for-dollar Charitable Organization Tax Credit refund. To make a secure online donation now,

Summer Parent Training Enrolling Now
Family Fundamentals is a 7-week parent training program designed and led by our Clinical Director for Speech & Language Services.  Parents work with an experienced clinician to identify high priority needs and develop an effective intervention plan with a blended approach of Applied Behavior Analysis and Speech and Language strategies.

Throughout Family Fundamentals, families participate in group classes and receive individualized coaching sessions to put their plan into action.  This program teaches parents how to help their child with communication, socialization, and positive behavior. The goal of Family Fundamentals is to empower and equip parents with tools that meet their immediate needs.

Here is what parents are saying about Family Fundamentals:

"My husband and I went to Family Fundamentals and we learned so much! Nicolette is the sweetest person and she completely understood everything we were going through. I highly recommend AZA United to everyone!"

"We did the Family Fundamentals class shortly after our 3 year old was diagnosed with autism. It was a great learning experience and support as we entered the new life with an autistic child. It was spread out over 7 weeks which was great because it gave us an opportunity to digest and ask questions about things that came up as we were navigating the insurance and ALTCS system. I highly recommend it for any family that has a recently diagnosed child."

Arizona Autism United is now enrolling families for our summer session from June 27th to August 8th and we have scholarships available. For more information, contact us at [email protected] or 480-302-5152.
