Art Inspired by Africa                 August 2014

It is 4pm on August 31st and I'm looking at dark clouds outside and hoping the approaching thunderstorm doesn't cause a powercut. If it does, I won't manage to send you my newsletter before the end of the month. However, I do have a fairly valid reason - I just returned from Australia! My husband, Nigel, and I visited to attend a friend's wedding and we returned with a desire to go back, a sketch of the Sydney Opera House (my own) and a fascination with the beautiful, noisy parrots. Oops, just heard the first bellow of thunder!
So enjoy my sketches from Tanzania and let me know if you can join me on an Art Safari in South Africa, or at The Explorers Club in New York City!
