At The Village Chapel our desire is to live the Word of God through Worship, Outreach, Relationships, and Discipleship. We believe that if we focus on Worshiping God in Spirit and Truth that God will present opportunities for us to reach out to those who need Jesus, grow in our relationships with one another, and go deeper in our walk with Christ as Disciples.

Hike
A few of us church folks not involved in the rummage sale are going on a Gaviota Peak hike this Saturday, July 13th.

We'll meet at the Village Shopping Center parking lot at 8:30 AM to car pool, or meet at the Gaviota hot springs parking area at 9:15 AM.  The hike is a challenging 2200 foot climb and about a 5 mile round trip.  Bring fluids and a lunch/snack.  Any questions please call Lew Aldridge at 588-2003.

If you do not have access to VAFB, you will need to either sign up on Sunday or send an e-mail with your full name, date of birth, and driver license to jwatkins@vvchapel.com by Wednesday, July 24th. Guests are required to enter the base through the Main Gate at HWY 1 & California Blvd. There are a limited amount of firearms available for rent at the Gun Club and the costs vary, please go to www.vafbgunclub.com for more information on rentals. If you plan to bring your own firearm, please be sure they are unloaded and locked in your trunk, not a glove compartment. May you be blessed at this event and have fun!
