 A must have for any athlete!  A foam roller can  be used to rehab injured muscles and also as part of warmup and cooldown routines. Rolling improves circulation which gets the  body ready for a workout and helps it recover afterward. It is also great for preparing the muscles for stretching by breaking down knots that may limit range of motion.   Price:  varies by size

Greetings! 
This year I am fortunate enough to be able to give my 10th official Badwater Ultramarathon another try to help raise funds for AIDS orphans.  Pam Reed, who also lives here in the Tetons, will be going for her 9th Badwater at the same time.  Both of us have won Badwater twice and would love for you to train with us here in the Tetons...for FREE!  Our journey begins on Tuesday, June 4th at 6 pm for dinner followed by 5 days of intense training, including participation in the Jackson Hole Half Marathon on Saturday, June 8th and a white water rafting trip!  If you are interested in participating please email Lisa at  www.lisa@dreamchaserevents.com or visit the Dreamchasers website for additional information.        Additionally, I am also honored to announce that Marathon in Training will be featuring a podcast interview with me to discuss my 10th Badwater journey.  Details will be provided as they become available.   Much love to all,

SPRING BREAK CLASS SCHEDULE:  A limited number of classes will be offered beginning Tuesday March 19th through Tuesday March 26th while our instructors take some time away to enjoy spring break.  Please check the schedule prior to attending any classes during this time.      ANOTHER LIVE WELL WORKSHOP:  The feedback from the Live Well Workshop has been great!  So much so that Chris Heilman will be offering another 6 week course beginning April 3rd.  The class will be held each Wednesday from 9:00 am - 10:00 am until May 8th.  Childcare will be available!  See  Camps/Workshops sidebar for details. Julie: do you prefer to do speed work on the track or on the treadmill? 
  
Answer:  
The  Treadmill.  I like to hold pace and see gains on the screen in front of  me.  I will never touch that dial  and always know it is a constant  environment which I can increase speed from.  Besides, you have to keep  up the pace or you "hit the wall"...literally!

 Thai prawn, ginger & spring onion stir-fry Ingredients                                                                  
 -  200g                                                                                                                                                                                               raw, peeled                                                                                                                            tiger prawns                                                                                                 from a sustainable source 
 -  1                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  green Thai                                                            chilli  , chopped 
 -  3                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     garlic cloves  , 1 crushed and 2 finely sliced 
 -  1                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  bunch                                                                                                      coriander                                                                                                                     , leaves and stalks separated 
 -  1 						tbsp 						                                                                                                                                                                                                                            caster sugar 
 -  juice 1                                                            lime  
 -  3 						tbsp 						                                                                                                                                                                                                                            fish sauce 
 -  2 						tbsp 						                                                                                                                                                                                                                            groundnut oil 
 -  3cm piece                                                            ginger  , finely sliced, then shredded 
 -  8                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     spring onions  , finely sliced 
 -  1                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     red pepper  , thinly sliced 
 -  85g                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  water chestnuts                                                                                                 , sliced 
 -  100g                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  beansprouts 
 -  1 						tbsp 						                                                                                                                                                                                                                            soy sauce 
 -  egg or                                                                                                                            rice noodles                                                                                                 , to serve 
 -   lime  wedges, to serve 
 
 - Put the prawns in a bowl. Put the chilli, crushed garlic, coriander stalks (snip these up using scissors first) and caster sugar in a spice grinder or small food processor and whizz together. Add half of the lime juice and the fish sauce, then pour this over the prawns.  
 -   Heat 1 tbsp oil in a wok, add the ginger and spring onions and fry for 1 min. Add the red pepper and fry for 1 min, until the pepper starts to soften. Add the water chestnuts and bean sprouts, and toss together until the bean sprouts start to wilt. Add the soy sauce and a really good grind of black pepper, then tip the lot into a serving dish.  
 -   Heat the remaining oil in the wok and add the prawns, lifting them out of their juices. Toss for 1-2 mins until they turn pink, add the marinade and swirl the wok quickly, then tip the lot onto the veg. Snip over the coriander leaves and sprinkle on the remaining lime. Serves over noodles with extra lime for squeezing over.
