Can you believe it's almost Halloween?!? Where has the year gone? Time to start (or restart) on all those holiday projects you told yourself you were going to finish by July! There are plenty of upcoming classes to spur you along. Don't worry....The Granary will be there to help.

Be sure to read every article in this newsletter so you don't miss out. There are a few new programs starting and, of course, a listing of the upcoming classes.

Halloween Fabric 30% Off

12 Weeks of Winter Wonderland Block of the Week

Sandy and I were smitten with the adorable Sleigh Bell Sampler Quilt featured on the cover of Sherri Falls' new book, Winter Wonderland, and decided to turn it into a block of the week. It's irresistible - come by and see the sample Sandy made! While you're here, you can pick up your very own book and first block kit! There will be 11 additional kits to follow each week through January 4, 2016. You'll have all of 2016 to get your Sleigh Bell Sampler Quilt done before Christmas!

For $138.95, you will get the Winter Wonderland book and all fabric for the quilt top, including binding. Don't wait! Kits are limited!

Amish with a Twist III

Have you seen Nancy Rink's newest Amish With a Twist III Quilt? We were lucky enough to have Nancy's quilt hanging in the store for a few weeks but had to return it before our block of the month program started. Once again this quilt features the irresistible combination of the rich solid fabrics from Marcus Fabrics and an amazing pattern designed by Nancy! Nancy's user-friendly patterns contain colored diagrams and visual guides. This quilt is appropriate for quilters of every skill level.

This 98"x107" quilt contains just 11 of Marcus's yummy Centennial solids, mostly new colors. The design merges a variety of blocks based on traditional Amish quilts such as Diamond in a Square and Trip Around the World. Nancy's choice of "Blue Coal" as the background allows the new colors to "pop" for a vibrant look that is true to Amish tradition, yet also contemporary in feeling, with the updated palette and unique medallion layout. Quilters have the option of creating a pieced or appliqued medallion for the center, with a further option of traditional applique or pre-fused laser cut packets available for purchase.

Our 10-month program will begin November 1 and continue through August 2016. Kits run $22 plus tax per month. Shipping is available for an additional cost. Call the shop today or come by for more details. This program is non-cancellable.

Sewfie's Holiday Schedule

"Sewfie" (our Gammill longarm) turned 5 on October 13! Thank you to all who have entrusted your quilts to her and made her feel so loved with your kind words! As hard as it is to think about the holidays right now...it must be done! To ensure that your quilt will be done in time for gift giving, please make an appointment to bring your quilt to the shop no later than Thursday, November 12. An appointment is necessary as there is not always someone in the shop that you can discuss your quilting design and thread options with. Don't delay--call the shop today for your appointment.
