Where did the Summer go!? It's hard to believe that this is Labor Day weekend - the traditional end of summer. Of course here in the Bay Area we'll have a few more months of hot weather....sometimes it's the hottest time of the year! The Fall usually means getting back into a routine and we're hoping that quilting at The Granary is a part of that routine! We've received bolts and bolts of new fabric that are sure to inspire you to sew!

In our last newsletter we announced that the September - December 2014 class schedule had been posted to the website and now we're happy to announce that the downloadable PDF version is ready for you! The PDF version is a very brief description of classes and events offered in the shop. Your best bet for detail is to peruse the website!

It's not too late to join the current 6 month session of Double Delight! What is Double Delight?!? A delightful group meets once a month for an in depth pattern demo and a delicious dessert! Check out the above picture for a sampling of the past projects. See our website for more details.

Keep in mind that next week, September 2-6, is Buy More, Save More! This is a great time to buy those backgrounds and backings! Check out our "About Us" page for all the details.

We will be closed Sunday and Monday, August 31 and September 1 for Labor Day.

Carol will be using the pictured collection of fat quarter cuts for Happy Hour this month! Be sure to sign up for this month's Happy Hour so you don't miss out. Our next happy hour will be on Friday, September 26
