UPCOMING QUILT APPRAISAL DAY
Antique Quilts Magazine Do you have a special quilt you've wanted to have appraised? Here's your chance! Nancy Bavor, American Quilter's Society Certified Appraiser of quilted textiles, will be in the shop on Wednesday, April 2 from 10am-5pm for quilt appraisals. Nancy's schedule is filling up fast..there are only one or two spots left!  Please call or stop by to make your appointment. Appraisals are $50 per quilt - appointments are scheduled in 30 minute increments.

New "Small" Project of the Month
We are so excited to introduce our newest "small block of the month" program! Sandy will be making 6 of the irresistible projects from Nancy Halvorsen's newest book, Table Please. These easy, fusible applique projects will range from Spring to Summer to Patriotic to Birthday and will be introduced every other month since they are a little bigger than the small blocks of the month we've done in the past. Since we've also ordered Nancy's entire line of fabric, each project will feature the same fabric shown in the book. Our new program will run $24.95 per month. Your kit will include the fabric and any decorative buttons and/or embellishments to complete the featured project. Save 10% on your book (reg. $19) when you sign up! This program is offered by automatic credit card billing only--shipping is available for an additional fee. Our first featured project is just in time for Easter! Sign up today so you don't miss a single one of these adorable home dec projects!

Quilts from El's Kitchen Block of the Month
Paula and Julie's fifth block of the month quilt together is underway. There are a few spots left.  We will be accepting registrations through the end of February. This year's inspiring quilt comes from Eleanor Burns' newest book, Quilts from El's Kitchen. All 17 quilt blocks are "traditional"-some are easy and familiar to sew, while others have a new skill to learn. You can choose to make your quilt with 12 inch blocks (96" x 96" finished) or 6 inch blocks (50" x 50" finished), and a number of border options are included. Our sample showcases 12" blocks in cheery reproduction fabrics from the 1930's, but the pattern lends itself to any variety of fabric styles (many different fabric options are pictured in the book) and is fat quarter friendly. Each block has a simple recipe to go along with it which calls for just a few ingredients and basic skills to serve up! Please see our website for more details.

Return of the "Twinkler Sewciety"!
The Twinkler Sewciety is going strong!  We think you'll love our monthly selection. New to The Granary and the Twinkler Sewciety? Here's how it works.... Each month you will receive 8 specially coordinated fat quarters made up of the newest fabrics in the shop. The cost is $20.95 (plus tax) per month and membership is offered by automatic credit card billing only. Sign up today! You may join or cancel at any time; shipping is available for an additional fee.
