Have you been resting up for our

Early Bird Sale?!

It's almost here....Saturday, November 16 beginning at 6am! The earlier you shop, the more you save! Arrive between 6-7am, and you'll receive 30% off your entire purchase, 7-9am receive 25% off and 9am-12pm receive 20% off. Sale limited to stock on hand. Half-yard minimum cut required on fabric cut from bolts. All items in our "Hold" basket will be returned to inventory on Friday afternoon prior to the Early Bird Sale. Sale excludes all quilt kits. The early bird gets the best deal!

We will be closing at 2pm on Wednesday, November 27 and closed on Thursday, November 28 for Thanksgiving.

Friday November 29 - Annual Sample Sale

For those of you who have asked whether we ever sell our shop samples, the answer is "Yes!" and here is your opportunity to purchase something special. Once a year, The Granary's staff offers some of their meticulously handmade samples for sale just in time for the Holidays. The Sample Sale begins the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 29, and continues through the end of the year. The selection will change weekly as new samples become available. No credit cards will be accepted for the purchase of samples; cash is preferred.

Don't forget about this great deal from Martingale Publishing! The offer is valid through December 31.

Martingale/That Patchwork Place is having a great promotion! Simply purchase ANY Martingale/That Patchwork Place book, send your receipt and a coupon to Martingale and they will send you a $10 rebate! We have a special display of some of their books near the front counter....the rest are scattered around the shop.

Sewfie

"Sewfie" (our Gammill longarm) has been hard at work these last few weeks stitching her lovely designs on quilts destined for holiday gifts. As hard as it is to think about the holidays right now...it must be done! To ensure that your quilt will be done in time for gift giving please plan on bringing your quilt to the shop no later than Friday November 22. To be sure that you are able to meet with Jody or Paula to discuss your design desires please call the shop in advance to make an appointment.

Stella Lighting

Stella continues to be popular and now the desktop model will have a companion in the shop! StellaEDGE (clamps on to the edge of the table) arrival is getting closer! We anticipate receiving our order around the beginning of November. If you would like to reserve one please let us know and we'll put you on the list! Stop by the shop and see just how wonderful Stella is. We have a light displayed in our classroom for you to experiment with! Visit Stella's website for more information.

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday was started in 2010 by American Express to celebrate and promote the small businesses...namely, your local and independently owned shops. This year Small Business Saturday is on November 30. The day traditionally falls on the Saturday between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Make an effort to shop locally on this day....your shops and your neighborhood benefit! Hope to see you here at The Granary!

Hampton Ridge Block of the Month

Did you know that the Hampton Ridge BOM is also available independent of the class?

A class for a BOM is the easiest and most fun way to quilt is with fellow quilters who share similar interests! It's not too late to sign up for the class. Join Louise each month as we sew our way through a glorious fabric collection by Paula Barnes. Perfect your piecing skills each month as we learn new tips and techniques to enhance your quilting knowledge as Louise guides you through the forty-one 5" blocks that create this 88" square Civil War Era replica. Class breaks down each month's blocks into manageable, doable steps. A kit containing your fabric and pattern will be ready for you each month. Classes typically meet on the last Wednesday of each month (with some exceptions).

One-time class fee of $110 for 12-month program
Monthly kit fee $25
