Have you missed us?! February has flown by (again)! We missed Valentine's Day (hope it was happy!) and the leprechauns are now starting to dance in the shop! We've got some great St. Patrick's Day fabric....hurry in before it's gone!

Missing Quilts

Missing Quilt We ran this article in our last email and wanted to clarify that the quilts referred to below were NOT taken from The Granary.

One of our favorite teachers, Kathi Oderio, is missing 2 very special quilt tops which she made for 2 very special children in her life. She spent more than 6 months making these quilts. They each contain 6 sampler blocks (pieced and appliqued) set with lattice and 6" or 7" borders. Both quilts look very similar to the one pictured here but are not identical. Neither top is quilted so there may be a chance of them showing up at a longarm quilter. If you happen to see them or know anything about their disappearance, please let us know right away either by a phone call or an anonymous note. We would like nothing more than to have these quilts returned to Kathi.

Happy Hour

To the left is the bright and cheery quilt Jody created using January's strip set. Stop by the shop for the "Windmills" pattern by Pam and Nicky Lintott of the Quilt Room to create your own beautiful quilt! There may even be a strip set or two left but hurry....this strip set has been VERY popular!

February's Happy Hour will feature these 12 eye catching fat quarters. Paula is in charge this month! Join us on on Friday, February 22 6:30-8pm. Call or stop by the shop today to sign up for this fun evening! $40 includes the fabric and the pattern....and of course, fun!

Small Blocks of the Month

Sarah & Sandy will be sharing the "small block of the month" duties in 2013 and will be offering 2 patterns this year! Both patterns are from one of our most favorite designers, Amy Bradley Designs--Animal Whimsy and Merry Christmas. We are now accepting sign ups for both BOM programs. These easy, fusible applique blocks are so do-able when you only make one per month. Animal Whimsy will run $13.95/month and Merry Christmas $14.95/mo.; this price includes 12 monthly fabric kits and a finishing kit (sashing and/or borders). Save 10% on your pattern when you sign up for either program; we are also offering a 10% discount when you pre-pay for all 12 months! Programs offered by automatic credit card billing only--shipping is available for an additional fee.

Tyler Rose Block of the Month

Paula and Julie will begin their fourth block of the month quilt together in January. This year's stunning quilt, Tyler Rose Parade, comes from designer, Deb Luttrell, of Stitchin' Heaven, and features 30 beautiful, pieced blocks-15 unique blocks and 15 of the same alternating block. Each block is named for and celebrates a rose from Tyler, Texas, the rose capital of America. The finished quilt measures 88" x 102". This program is designed for the advanced beginner to intermediate quilter and will focus on precision cutting, piecing and pressing so that this quilt and all your future quilts will go together in a snap.
