Exciting news! Construction has started in the back area of the shop! Soon we will be sporting a spiffy new bathroom and brand new flooring & carpet! We can't wait! Thank you to all of our shoppers who have been so gracious about our "camping" accommodations!

Have you been resting up for our Early Bird Sale?! It's almost here....Saturday, November 17 beginning at 6am! The earlier you shop, the more you save! Arrive between 6-7am, and you'll receive 30% off your entire purchase, 7-9am receive 25% off and 9am-12pm receive 20% off. Sale limited to stock on hand. Half-yard minimum cut required on fabric cut from bolts. All items in our "Hold" basket will be returned to inventory on Friday afternoon prior to the Early Bird Sale. Sale excludes all quilt kits. The early bird gets the best deal!

Friday November 23 - Annual Sample Sale

For those of you who have asked whether we ever sell our shop samples, the answer is "Yes!" and here is your opportunity to purchase something special. Once a year, The Granary's staff offers some of their meticulously handmade samples for sale just in time for the Holidays. The Sample Sale begins the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 23, and continues through the end of the year. The selection will change weekly as new samples become available. No credit cards will be accepted for the purchase of samples; cash is preferred. We will feature a slideshow of available quilts in our next email.

Warm Coat Collection!

Join us in supporting Sunnyvale Community Services by donating gently used or brand new coats and jackets at The Granary. All sizes welcome! You will receive a raffle ticket for each item you donate. We will draw one raffle ticket on December 1 to win a $50 Granary gift certificate. Donations will be accepted now through November 30. We reserve the right to reject donations that are not appropriate to the cause.

Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday was started in 2010 by American Express to celebrate and promote the small businesses...namely, your local and independently owned shops. This year Small Business Saturday is on November 24. The day traditionally falls on the Saturday between Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Make an effort to shop locally on this day....your shops and your neighborhood benefit! Hope to see you here at The Granary!

Sewfie

"Sewfie" (our Gammill longarm) has been hard at work these last few weeks stitching her lovely designs on quilts destined for holiday gifts. The holidays are coming and they're going to arrive faster than you think!! To ensure that your quilt will be done in time for gift giving, please plan on bringing your quilt to the shop no later than Friday, November 30. The sooner you get your quilt to the shop, the better! "Sewfie" and Jody will be on vacation beginning December 15! To be sure that you are able to meet with Jody or Paula to discuss your design desires, please call the shop in advance to schedule an appointment.

October Happy Hour Quilt

To the left is the festive holiday quilt Jody created using October's red & green strip set and Cozy Quilt's "Tree Lot" pattern. There are a few strip sets remaining in the shop and there are plenty of patterns for this seasonal quilt!

Below is the fat quarter collection we've put together for November's Happy Hour. What will Sarah create?! Join us on Friday, November 30 - 6:30-8pm. Call or stop by the shop today to sign up for this fun evening! $40 for the fabric....the pattern and fun are free!
