Our lasShop Floodt email to you was rather short and to the point!  We'd had a flood and would have to close!   Here's the proof! We've been working like crazy to get the shop in order so that we can reopen and it looks like Thursday, October 18 is going to be the big day to reopen!    

We were very fortunate that the flood was contained to the back 1/3 of the shop.  Sewfie was not affected and neither were any customer quilts!  Phew....THAT would have been a disaster!  The shop will be in a bit of disarray for the next month or so as there will be some rebuilding going on and new carpet will be installed at some point!

We'd like to thank our wonderful customers for all the heartfelt good wishes!  We can't wait to thank you in person!  

Candy Corn One more thing....Halloween fabric is now 30% off!(1/2 yard minimum cut off the bolt) Don't get too excited and run out the door right now ...remember....we won't be open till tomorrow (10/18)!

September Happy Hour Quilt

To the left is the fun Halloween quilt Carol created using September's Halloween fat quarter collection and Mountainpeek Creation's "Town Square" pattern. There are plenty of patterns for this seasonal quilt!

 

Get a head start on a holiday quilt by signing up for October's Happy Hour! Jody will be using red and green 2 1/2" strips...can't wait till you see it! Join us on Friday, October 26 - 6:30-8pm. Call or stop by the shop today to sign up for this fun evening!   $40 for the fabric....the pattern and fun are free!

"Sewfie" (our Gammill longarm) has been hard at work these last few weeks stitching her lovely designs on quilts destined for holiday gifts.  As hard as it is to think about the holidays right now...it must be done!  To ensure that your quilt will be done in time for gift giving please plan on bringing your quilt to the shop no later than Friday November 30.  To be sure that you are able to meet with Jody or Paula to discuss your design desires please call the shop in advance to be sure one of us is available.
