Vikki_Jones
Vikki Jones

At age five, I began to learn the value of philanthropy. It began in Douglas, Wyoming where my mother taught me to put money in the basket at church for people in need. MEET OUR NEW ADMINISTRATOR
We are delighted to welcome our new Administrator, Eileen Dengler, owner and president of Reading Enterprises

Eileen Dengler This will probably be the one and only official Administrator's Letter I will write in The Planner. Since this is a special issue, I will use it as an opportunity to introduce myself and then I will step into the shadows and let the great leaders in philanthropy share their vision with you each month.

I've had the good fortune to work with many of you through my years as the conference manager for Fundraising Day in New York. My firm, Reading Enterprises, has managed a wide range of organizations, from book publishing, to family fun centers, to forensic science (those PowerPoint presentations are unsettling). "My fundraisers," as I call you, have a special place in my heart for the incredible work you do for others each and every day. My mission is to make your involvement in your professional organization easier, valuable, and pleasurable.

I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. For those who are only marginally involved in PPGGNY, I hope you will see the change in leadership at PPGGNY as a chance to join us "new kids on the block" and become more involved.
