Greetings from SUNNY Port Ludlow,

Calling all foodies!  Chef Dan and Sommelier Anne have created a weekend of education and fun for this fall.  Save the Date now for the weekend of October 16 - 18 as they make plans, along with coffee guru, Joshua from Victrola and Chocolate gura, Cat from Theo's Chocolate.  This inaugural event will feature time with extremely passionate professionals to learn more about gourmet and high quality products through hands on learning sessions (and then, of course, memorable food and wine events.)

And for all of our Farm "hands" - the Finnriver Farm dinner (at the farm) is scheduled for Friday, September 4th - that is the kick-off to Labor Day Weekend.  Betting blueberries will be on the menu!  Save the Date - details in next month's newsletter.

If you can't wait that long for something special, we have a few open seats in the June 6th Chateau St. Michelle winemaker dinner. View Information.

And we are going to have a very fun "Taste of Northern Italy" - Friday, July 31.  More to come shortly as we define the menu and wines.

In the meantime, check this out....

Hand painting the totem.  Gives perspective to how big it is, right?

We are "freshening up" - and are ready for your visit!  The totem pole has been power washed, painted, sealed and the new "wings" will be up in a few weeks.  Had a chance to preview the wood - and it is a stunning piece of lumber from 900 years ago that will be carved by David Boxley, the original carver of the totem. (Did you know David has carved better than 75 totems, one is in the Smithsonian!) A re-dedication ceremony will be on Saturday, July 4th as we celebrate what was a gift to the community 20 years ago. Please join us then at 10am - and if you would like to extend your time in this celebration, join us for a potlatch lunch. Call ahead for reservations please - 360-437-7412.

And the US Open is upon us.  We have a few rooms left that weekend - so if you want to come and play a round in Port Ludlow, celebrate Father's Day with golf on your mind or need a place to rest after walking the hills of Chambers Bay, give us a call.  360-437-7000 is the reservations/Front Desk line.

Oh, and by the way, today is National Chardonnay Day.  Now that is something to celebrate!  See you around the Inn soon,

Boating season has begun. The Port Ludlow Marina hosted an Opening Day Ceremony conducted by the Port Ludlow Yacht Club on May 9th inducting new members and remembering those who have passed. The ceremony was full of tradition, music and cheer, and ended with a champagne toast. It was a beautiful day full of excitement and enthusiasm for the boating season.

Visit our BLOG for more images and video of Opening Day at the Marina.

Home.

Port Ludlow's newest waterfront neighborhood,
Ludlow Cove Cottages is taking shape and we will be welcoming our first residents this summer. Now with two model homes
open - The two-story Townsend floor plan, and our single-story Kingston plan, buyers can see the possibilities first hand. With
five floor plans and woodland, park-front, and waterfront
home sites to choose from, buyers are able to create the space that makes them feel...at home.

Retreats & Groups

The Resort at Port Ludlow is an ideal place for executive retreats, strategic planning sessions or special events. Just 90
minutes from Seattle via the ferry or 15 minutes from Lake Union via Kenmore Air the Resort we're close enough to get to easily,
but feel far enough away to be able to enjoy and focus.

Some of our guests prefer to travel by seaplane.

"The accommodations were excellent, very comfortable, and inviting. We have used the meeting room over the years with six or seven corporate and non-profit groups. It is one of the best spaces for facilitated meetings in the nation. And, we know, because we have spent over 30 years leading groups in less effective meeting rooms across the country. The Port Ludlow Inn has wonderful views, satisfying meals, and a perfect settings for stays and for meetings."
