Service/Mechanics Trucks can be found anywhere heavy equipment or machinery is working-mines, gas and oil fields, or utility sub-stations to name a few industries. These rolling tool boxes are often equipped with a winch and crane package, which is why users of Service/Mechanics trucks may need to be certified. To assist employers with documenting the qualifications of mechanics using Service/Mechanics trucks, Crane Institute Certification (CIC), Villa Rica, Ga., will soon release a new certification program for this type of equipment. Florida Crane Operator Receives Training and Certification Scholarship
Jimmie King, a heavy haul truck driver, rigger and crane operator working for Bryson Crane Rental Service, Daytona Beach, Fla., is the 2013 recipient of a training and certification scholarship awarded by the Florida Crane Owners Council (FCOC). The training portion of the scholarship was donated by Crane Institute of America. CIC donated Mobile Crane Operator Certification exams. More
