CIC Joins TAUC
Crane Institute Certification is now an Affiliate Member of The Association of Union Constructors, which represents more than 2,000 contractor companies that utilize union labor for projects. TAUC's mission is to act as an advocate for union contractors and enhance cooperation between the three entities involved in the successful completion of construction projects: the union, the contractor and the owner-client, the company for which the work is being completed.
Debbie Dickinson, CIC's Executive Director, has been invited to serve on the TAUC Safety and Health Committee. "I am pleased to be asked to contribute to the development of TAUC's safety and health policies. I look forward to working with other industry professionals to enhance safety-first principles on the job and in the industry," said Dickinson.
