Dear Parents, Students, and Friends,
Parents continually strive to create and maintain a home environment that offers comprehensive nurturing to our children. Parental love is essential in this process and for the development of our girls. The bonds that are formed between you and your children are the essence of what is most human within children and give them the basic building blocks that structure their personalities. We pray that parents' active involvement, support, communication, and encouragement of your daughters will grow and strengthen your family bonds. Prayer
"Heavenly Father, You have given us a model of life in the Holy Family of Nazareth. Help us to make our family another Nazareth where love, peace, and happiness reign. Help us support one another in joy and sorrow through family prayer. Teach us to see Jesus in the members of our family, especially in His distressing disguises. May we love one another as You love each one of us and forgive each other's faults as You forgive our sins. Amen."
May God bless you and your families.

Junior Parent Night
Impossible as it may seem, the time has arrived for your daughter to begin the college counseling process. One of the distinct values of an Ursuline education is that each student is given intensive individualized help through every phase of the career and college exploration, application, and admission process.
Since parents are a key part of the college admissions process, there will be a Junior Parents' Night held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Raineri's students and their parents will meet in the Gym. Mrs. Barillare's students and their parents will meet in the Auditorium. At this meeting, our process and timeline will be explained, a packet of essential information regarding college admissions will be given, and your daughter's current transcript will be distributed. Since this is the only time when this information will be given, this is a mandatory meeting and each Junior and at least one parent or guardian must attend. The onset of the college admission process is always an exciting if anxious time for students and their parents. We are confident that you will find Junior Parents' Night highly informative and reassuring. We look forward to seeing you then.
The 7th Annual Dunkin' Donuts Philadelphia Regional Scholarship Program is now accepting applications. This program will award up to 25 $2,000 scholarships. Applicants must be high school seniors who plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the fall of 2016. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of "well-rounded" character: positive academic record.

She had a wonderful activity where students reflected and wrote about their gifts and dreams. Sr. Elisa visits sophomores in all 7 Ursuline high schools in the Roman Union, one of 43 branches of the Ursulines. We look forward to her visit again next year!
