A LITTLE BIT OF TIME GOES A LONG WAY.........

The TBS Caring Community is an outreach group of Temple members that contact congregants who are ill, have been hospitalized, who have had a loss or are experiencing a family crisis. Members of Caring Community make phone calls to offer support, condolence and make a difficult situation a little easier. We are hoping to expand our commitment to the Temple Family as Caring Community grows. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved in a committee that takes very little time, yet goes a long way. We are looking for volunteers to participate and help make a difference. In addition, any Congregant who loves to cook or bake, please let us know so we can make use of your generosity. If interested, please contact Barbara Flanz, Babs1996@aol.com.

ON FRI, OCT 18TH

AT 7:30 PM

DEBRA MESSING

WILL BE OUR SHABBAT SERVICE GUEST SPEAKER AND WILL OFFICIALLY LAUNCH  OUR

'HOWARD SIMONS MENSCH PROGRAM

The MENSCH program is about fostering INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS between young people in school and teaching the SOCIAL SKILLS that nurture those relationships.   MENSCH is aimed at building a culture within our synagogue where young people treat each other, their teachers and others with kindness, compassion and care.   Ultimately, we hope that this culture will inspire you and other congregants to create a similar culture that becomes a part of our identity.
