HOOPING HIGHLIGHTS | |
Hoops for Adults
Don't buy a flimsy toy hoop you see in the grocery, toy or drugstore. They are for children. You will only get frustrated and give up. For a beginner adult hooper, you need a hoop that is 42 inches in diameter (min) that weighs no more than 2 lbs (recommended). You want to avoid the heavy weighted hoops with curves in it. Not the best for the spine and more bruising than needed. Remember, ou want to remain in joy and have fun - not beat yourself up.

On this April day here in the North East, Mother Nature sure has a sense of humor as she decided to turn the heat up to the low 80s. Compare that to last week being in the 30s and 40s for the most part. Isn't she funny!
If Mother Nature knows how to have a sense of humor - and it's not only in April - then I believe we should too, don't you think? I love to laugh. Honestly, who doesn't?! Think about it. Have you ever met anyone that hates to laugh? It's one of the most natural gifts we have to help ourselves and others to feel great.

Teaching Nia in Stoneridge, NY - April 28 |
I will be trekking up to Stoneridge, NY on Sunday, April 28 to teach a Nia class. In the area? Jump in. Not so close, but not too far? Explore and have some fun on a day trip. Stoneridge is just north of New Paltz. It is a beautiful drive up I-87 towards the Catskills. There are wineries nearby, hiking trails, small towns with fun shopping and eateries. Woodstock is not too far as well (a little further north).
