Experience The Nia Technique & HoopnoticaFit
From a competitive gymnast background when young, to dance classes with dreams of dancing on Broadway, obtaining an Exercise Science Degree, teaching group fitness classes and working as a personal trainer I can tell you, the needs and motivation for being fit changes throughout life and that the bottom line to maintaining fitness for life is.... keeping it FUN and MEANINGFUL. Fun, for obvious reasons and meaningful, to keep in touch with the reality of your "inner" current state of mind, physical, spiritual and emotional needs to keep it real, safe and sustainable.

The Nia Technique is a meaningful style of fitness that is also fun. Nia intentionally focuses on the connection between the body, mind, spirit and emotions by bringing awareness around sensations and seeking pleasure to tweak movements as your guide to sustain balance and well-being. It is a very mindful practice filled with joy. Click here for my current class schedule.
Hooping is a very fun fitness activity and it's not just for kids. Heck no! If our First Lady Michelle Obama can do it, so can you! Not only is it fun as an adult, but you get an awesome workout and a great waistline to boot. HoopnoticaFit also incorporates toning exercises for the arms and legs so you get a balanced workout that is easy on the joints while you increase your cardiovascular endurance and shape that waistline. It is a totally fun workout with many benefits.
Both Nia and Hooping lend itself to a lot of room for creative expression. Be adventurous by allowing your creativity to explore the inner workings of how you move in your body and you'll get an idea of how you are moving in your life. Free yourself by connecting to your creative spirit expressed through the body!
Hooping classes coming in March. Details soon to come.
