Call to AUSCP Members for Assembly Resolutions

The Second Annual Assembly of the AUSCP, slated for June 24-27 in Seattle will conduct the Association's business in the course of three sessions. Members are invited to submit a resolution for the good of the administration of the Association or to define its position on issues affecting Church or Society.

To facilitate managing what might be a large number of resolutions submitted, the Board will invite the membership, via a pre-assembly survey, to prioritize those resolutions that were accepted by the Issues and Initiatives Committee, chaired by Fr. Dan Divis.

When similar resolutions are submitted, the authors will be urged to reconcile their differences into a single resolution to strengthen it and streamline the process.

The prioritized resolutions will be presented to the AUSCP members present at the Seattle Assembly for their consideration and disposition.

A worksheet for submitting a resolution is available from the Association's Secretary, Jim Schexnayder (jasbayarea@att.net, 510-708-5762), or by connecting with this link for the Resolution Worksheet.

The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2013.
