Lincoln Park Zoo
It's hard to believe, but a recent visit to Lincoln Park Zoo was the first time Victory Centre of Park Forest resident Jim had ever been to this or any zoo. At lunch Jim shared how much it meant to him to see live animals looking right back at him from behind the glass. He said it felt as if they were saying, "Jim, what took you so long?"
Brown Cow Ice Cream Parlor
After studying the origins of ice cream and making their own as part of a lifelong learning activity, Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge residents tasted the best of the best at The Brown Cow in Park Forest, recently named one of the 10 best ice cream spots in the U.S.!

On a trip to the Mitchell Museum in Evanston, Victory Centre of Vernon Hills residents explored the art, history and culture of Native American and First Nation people from the United States and Canada. Volkening Heritage Farm
Victory Centre of Vernon Hills residents travelled back in time to the 1880s when Schaumburg was a rural German farm community. Authentically-dressed guides welcomed the seniors and encouraged them to help with farm chores, participate in old-fashioned family activities and games and visit the livestock. See more photos.
Heritage Hill
Age Well of Green Bay, WI, residents stepped back in time while visiting this living history museum devoted to the preservation of the buildings and artifacts and the interpretation of the history of Northeastern Wisconsin and its people. Visit Age Well's Facebook page.
Concert in the Park
