Off to the Races!

Boy Scout Troop 196 members brought over 50 cars to the Pinewood Derby hosted by Alexian Village. Residents picked their favorite cars to win and received ribbons for participation and for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. See more photos.

Big Love for "Mini" Horses
Adorable miniature therapy horses from Mane in Heaven inspired big love when they visited Victory Centre of Bartlett. The sweet horses are about the size of golden retrievers, and like therapy dogs, are well trained and give unconditional love. The seniors experienced real emotional connections petting and snuggling the minis. See more photos.

Time to Plant!
Keeping alive a "green" tradition that began five years ago, Pathway seniors are planting Victory Gardens. Tending to the flowers and vegetables gets gardeners outdoors for fresh air and exercise and promotes healthy eating! Come harvest time, the home-grown ingredients will make tasty, healthy dishes. See more photos.

Adopt a Grandparent

Victory Centre of Roseland has teamed up with Edgar Allen Poe Classical School for an "Adopt a Grandparent" program. Together they made an art project that represents the joining of hands between the students and seniors. See more photos.

Welcome Travanse Living

Pathway is managing this new assisted living and memory care community scheduled to open later this year in Olathe, Kansas, which is already being a good neighbor! While rehabbing the former hotel, perfectly good but discarded furniture was found and donated to a nearby Habitat for Humanity ReStore shop, which uses proceeds to build homes locally and around the world.
