Holiday On Ice
Ron Basten, 75, of Age Well in Green Bay, WI, wowed audiences across the country skating in the popular Holiday on Ice show from 1964 to 1972. He performed in over 30 cities each year doing air-born splits, camel spins and back flips! After leaving the show, Ron became a parks and recreation director in Michigan, where he started an annual ice show with the locals as the stars.

Life is Beautiful
Therese and Louise of Victory Centre of Vernon Hills made a painting that perfectly illustrates the Assisted Living Federation of America's 2015 Art Showcase theme, "Life is Beautiful." Hands spell "L-i-f-e" in sign language and are surrounded by pictures of seniors living large--swimming, sky diving, biking and more!

Made with Love
Hours of knitting produced soft, handmade slippers and bunnies to warm the feet and hearts of young patients at The University of Chicago's Comer Children's hospital. Victory Centre of River Oaks seniors donated the knitwear as part of Pathway's Caring and Sharing program. See photos.

Six Pack Abs
More than getting swimsuit ready, seniors in the Six Pack Ab Attack class are strengthening their core muscles to improve posture, reduce lower back pain and prevent falls. Pathway's popular exercise group is led by physical therapists from wellness partner Clinical Rehab Services.

"It makes me feel good, and I can notice the difference!"
says Victory Centre of Bartlett's Hazel.

Start Your Victory Gardens!
Keeping alive a "green" tradition that began five years ago, Pathway seniors prepare to plant Victory Gardens. Some gardeners are getting a jump on growing tomatoes, peppers and other veggies by starting seedlings indoors. The Victory Gardens promote fresh air, exercise and healthy eating.

VIVA! World Tour

Pathway residents "virtually" explore different countries around the world each month. See their fun adventures! Watch video.
