Friendship turned to love for Laverne and James Reed of Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge when the two, both in their 60s, tied the knot last January. One year later, their love still burns brightly. With a little help from a friend, Gabriel and Guadalupe Rodriguez renewed their wedding vows after over 50 years of marriage. The Rodriguez's live at Oak Hill Supportive Living Community along with Lynda Vackar, a retired minister who has presided over hundreds of weddings. Inspired by the Valentine season, they asked their neighbor Lynda to officiate one more wedding...and she said "yes!"
