Reuse Center Manager (BIG!NYC - Brooklyn)

We are filling the position for manager in the Gowanus, Brooklyn Reuse Center. This manager will be responsible for the overall operations of the retail store as well as the educational and special events programs that are scheduled to begin in 2013. The position requires a person who has substantial knowledge of construction and building materials, extensive management experience, flexibility, great cooperative ethic, and is deeply committed to BIG!NYC's social and environmental mission.   

Full-Time Temporary Project Coordinator for Public Engagement: (BIG!Compost - Astoria)  

BIG!Compost seeks an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Project Coordinator for Public Engagement. The Project Coordinator will promote awareness of composting infrastructure in western Queens, engage community members in each stage of composting, and implement education programs, including Compost Corps, a summer youth employment program.
