Winter CSA Returns to BIG!NYC-Gowanus
 Eat high quality organic vegetables all winter long! From late November through early February, members of the Full Plate Collective's Brooklyn Winter CSA can pick up a pre-packed 1/2-bushel box of veggies at the Build It Green! NYC reuse center in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
Shares include a selection of root crops, onions, garlic, cooking greens, winter squash, kohlrabi, cabbage, as well as spinach and salad grown in our passive solar hoop houses. For more info or to sign up visit fullplatefarms.org.

 A second adoption day has been scheduled for Sunday, November 18th. If you are interested in adopting a tree for your front or back yard, community garden or school yard, please email Natasia (natasia@gowanuscanalconservancy.org) to schedule your pick up. Join CEC for Weatherization Day at McCarren Park
On Tuesday, October 30th at 1pm Community Environmental Center (CEC) will join with other agencies around the country to celebrate Weatherization Day and honor both the federal Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) and New York State's WAP.
