What's Happening at Sequoia
Featured Artist Show
December 1 - January 29
First Tuesday Reception, December 1, 5 pm - 8 pm
Greetings!

For people wishing for an alternative to the consumer driven holiday shopping experience of the local big box store or shopping mall, Sequoia Gallery + Studios offers a unique selection of art and craft items suitable for the loved ones on your shopping list.

We invite you to come do your holiday shopping in the warmth and good cheer of Sequoia Gallery at our First Tuesday Reception or during our Holiday Gift Show and Sale as well as during our usual business hours.

We always love to see you and wish you and your loved ones a wonderful holiday season!
All member show
Each year during the holiday season, in the spirit of equality
Small Treasures and Gifts
and good cheer, Sequoia presents its All Member Show. The gallery walls, display cases and pedestals are divided equally among our member artists, who then select their favorite works to show during the holidays. From the beginning of December through the end of January, the diversity of styles, mediums and content represented by our member artists is on display. Every year, the show has a different "look" reflecting the current generation of active Sequoia members. But the one thing that never changes is the spirit of cooperation and friendship that pervades our Sequoia community of 30+ member artists, including 13 studio artists, and many teachers, volunteers and friends.

Also during December, our member artists display small art works and 3D gift items that may be a creative departure from their usual medium. These "small treasures" give our artists a chance to explore their creativity in another direction and give you, our customers, another way to show your support for Sequoia while checking off some of the people on your holiday shopping list.
Holiday show and gift sale
On December 4th and 5th our gallery, hallways, studios, and classroom will be filled with gift-worthy original works of art created by over 20 artists from both Sequoia and the local area. Items for sale will include fused glass, functional pottery, ceramic & wood sculpture, handwoven items, photography, art prints, handmade cards, several kinds of jewelry (fused glass, metal, wood, mixed media), paintings, and handmade toys. Holiday music and light refreshments will be served. Come enjoy the bright and festive atmosphere while you do your holiday shopping at Sequoia Gallery + Studios!

Hours:
Friday, December 4th, 4 - 8pm
Saturday, December 5, 10am -5pm

Proceeds from the sale of gift items will benefit Sequoia's non-profit mission to bring quality art and art programming to the greater Hillsboro community.
