The California Senior Legislature (CSL) is comprised of dedicated community volunteers representing all 58 counties in the state, and we're asking for your support! The CSL is primarily funded through a voluntary check off on the California State Income Tax Return - identified as the "California Fund for Senior Citizens" (CODE 402 of your State Income Tax Form). AB 247 (Wagner and Lieu) extends the California Fund for Senior Citizen's tax check-off from January 1, 2015, to January 1, 2020.
Please send in letters of support to Chair and Co-Authors:
Assembly Member Donald Wagner FAX (916) 319-2168

The California Fund for Senior Citizens contributions are distributed by the Franchise Tax Board to the California Senior Legislature (CSL) to accomplish the following objectives:
(1) Identify and prioritize senior citizen's concerns and needs;
(2) Develop proposals in response to those needs; and,
(3) Advocate for the inclusion of those issues in the legislative proposals in the California State Legislature.
Contributions support the development of legislative proposals seeking to improve services and programs addressing a variety of issues such as affordable health care access, elder abuse prevention, insurance consumer protection and community-based long-term care services and supports.
