Customers Bank Announces Major Initiatives in the City of Philadelphia
Customers Bank, Pennsylvania's 12th largest bank with assets of $3.7 billion, has announced the opening of a Loan Production Office in North Philadelphia with a goal of lending at least $300 million over the next three years, with emphasis on affordable lending programs, mortgage lending and small business lending programs targeted particularly to African American, Hispanic and other minority segments of Philadelphia's population. First Financial Network, Inc. Announces $200M Loan Portfolio Offering on Behalf of Community Bank
First Financial Network, Inc. (FFN) has announced the offering of a $200-million performing and non-performing loan portfolio on behalf of a community bank. The portfolio consists of commercial real estate, C&I, agricultural, residential and consumer loans. Approximately one-third of the loans in the portfolio are performing and the remainder is non-performing. Due diligence begins on August 19th with bids due on September 17. Read more>>

OpenWay, AzeriCard Roll Out Mobile Wallet with Cardless ATM Capability 

Card processing company AzeriCard and payment industry software provider OpenWay have introduced a mobile banking service based on Way4 Cash By Code technology from OpenWay Group. The service allows bank customers to withdraw cash at an ATM without a card. To use the service, customers simply enter a desired transaction amount in the Cash By Code app on their phones and select their preferred card and currency from a list. Read more>>
