As some of you might know, today is International Volunteer Day, an opportunity to recognize the great amount of contributions and efforts of volunteers all around the world. 

On behalf of the volunteers who have worked endlessly to support the mission and vision of Mayan Families, we would like to say much�simas gracias.

We have hundreds of volunteers who pass through our organization each year, and every single one of them has been able to make a difference. 

Although you may not see the fruit of your work, be assured that every volunteer plants a seed of hope in the lives of the impoverished Guatemalans that we work with, and we can see the impact in the growth and expansion of Mayan Families Programs and in the beautiful faces of the children and families that our volunteers come in contact with!

Just this year, we have welcomed photographers who have been able to capture amazing shots of our community members, students who have reworked our database, groups who have worked endlessly with construction projects, and individuals who have dedicated their time to assess and evaluate our programs, among many other valuable contributions.

We would not be where we are today without the support of our amazing, patient, and hardworking volunteers and today we thank you.
