Where?
We will begin on Stub Hollow Road at #190 and walk down this lovely, dirt lane flanked by varied habitat - woodlands, wetlands, meadows and ponds - ending on Maple Hollow Road amid fields and swamp. We typically see lots of different birds along this route.
Parking is available on the Road or in the driveway of #190 Stub Hollow Road.
Who? All levels of 'birders' are invited to join expert Fran Zygmont for a walk to listen for and see a variety of birds. He will give tips and materials that will be useful to beginners and experts alike. Come out for the NHLT Spring Bird Walk and see if you can tell the difference between Fran and the real thing! His bird calls are amazing and often fool even the most avid birders.
Bring binoculars or a scope and wear comfortable walking shoes. Insect repellent is recommended |
