Local Farm/Producer Displays and Door Prizes at the 2013 Fall Frolic
NHLT's Fall Frolic is a relaxed event with lots of good food and drink that also highlights area farms, wineries, sugar houses, etc. and their products. Partygoers enjoy browsing the farm display tables and they really like winning the local products donated by them as door prizes!

Kids can paint local pumpkins and join a costume parade just after dinner and before the Gypsy jazz/hot swing music starts and the dance floor fills up. The music will not be quite as loud this year and so will be more fun for people to listen if you're not up for dancing!

If the weather permits, a bonfire will be blazing under the stars for folks to enjoy outside.

Don't forget the homemade desserts!

NHLT and the Fall Frolic Committee Need You!

Dessert Table at Fall Frolic lo rez Karen and Priscilla workday 051714
Left: Many thanks to the dessert bakers for the Fall Frolic every year! If you would like to donate a dessert or help with the event, please e-mail us.

Right: Volunteers working on NHLT's Alfred Sabolcik Property at one of several work days last spring.

Are you a great baker? Do you like to get outside and do some heavy lifting? Do you have an idea for a great program or guided hike or newsletter article? Whether you have just a few hours to spare or can get more involved on a regular basis, NHLT can use your help in all kinds of ways!

Fall Frolic:
The Committee (Priscilla Marshall, Madeline McClave, Karen Meares, Jeff Ollendorf, Marilyn Ottone, Natalie Sihpol, Martha Steenburgh, Judy Stewart) can use help setting up at Ski Sundown on Thursday evening, 10/17, or Friday, 10/18, during the day. Or, donate a home-baked item to the fabulous dessert table at the event. There is always a need for assistance cleaning up after the party is over. Mostly - please help promote the event by telling all your friends and neighbors about it!

Please e-mail us to let us know if you would like to volunteer and to find out more!
