Claire Rutledge, Ph. D.
Department of Entomology Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station
The Emerald Ash Borer is an exotic, wood-boring beetle that kills ash trees. This beetle was first detected in Michigan in 2002 and has since spread to 17 states. It was first seen in Connecticut last July. Come out and learn about the history and biology of the beetle, the threat it poses to our forests and landscapes, how its spread is being tracked and what you can do to help minimize its impact on our ash trees. Bring your questions!
Join us on a late winter Sunday afternoon for
a fascinating presentation, our annual election
of Board members, updates on the Land Trust
