Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 - Get More for Your Money!

Dynamics GP 2013 brings with it a new licensing model that replaces the Business Essentials and Advanced Management editions of Dynamics GP with the Starter and Extended Packs. With this new model, every user will have access to each of the modules included in the Starter Pack. For businesses that need enhanced functionality beyond what's included in the Starter Pack, there's the Extended Pack available at a one-time cost and four additional packs that may each be purchased separately.

It's important to note, the Dynamics GP 2013 Starter pack includes many modules that had to be purchased separately in the past which is a great deal! To find out more about Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013's new licensing model and what's included in each pack, read more here.

Top 5 Dynamics ERP ISV's to Visit at Convergence 2013

Convergence 2013

If you are planning to attend Convergence 2013 in New Orleans this month, we wanted to share with you some of our top ISV's to visit at the Expo. While there are hundreds of ISVs showing their add-on tools at the event, following are the ones we wanted to highlight as we especially think their products offer strong enhancements to the already great functionality of Dynamics GP:

  1. Binary Stream - This company offers three products that provide great functionality. The Multi-Entity Management program that allows many entities or balance sheets to reside in one Dynamics GP database. Advanced Recurring Contract Billing sets up recurring billing for a number of industries with enhancements coming shortly-bundling of multiple recurring items and a built in consumer price index increase amount. Finally, they offer a specialty product for Healthcare Materials Management. One of our clients who is a large and nationally known hospital in Minnesota selected this product and is excited to deploy it shortly.
  2. Fieldpoint - They offer a .NET product called Alert Software with 600+ organizations using it as well as a newer product, Alert Stratus, written in the Dynamics CRM 2011 toolset. Both products are geared toward professional services firms and offer not only time entry and approval but also the scheduling of consultants based on skillsets and availability. Both of these products integrate nicely with Dynamics GP out of the box.
  3. Paramount - With organizations keeping tighter budgets and greater control overall spending habits, Paramount steps in with a tremendous web-based solution with a strong PunchOut option for Purchasing Managers wanting to order from vendor's websites. Basically, the tool speeds order processing and lowers procurement costs by integrating real-time with suppliers' online catalogs.
  4. Mekorma - Mekorma's MICR is the best-selling check printing enhancement for Microsoft Dynamics GP. It makes managing multiple checking accounts secure and easy, heightens security and adds convenience to your check signing processes. Mekorma MICR also adds sorting and configuration capabilities, as well as a variety of other features, to address common and unusual check printing needs.
  5. Greenshades- Greenshades has so many useful products and makes payroll taxes quick and painless. Some of our favorite tools include State Filings (SUTA and W2), State New Hire Reporting, Federal 1099, Federal W2s, Local W2s, 940 and 941 Reports, 401(k) Reports. One of the things we love about Greenshades is that their products work with multiple Dynamics ERP products including Dynamics GP, SL and AX.

We look forward to seeing you at Convergence, possibly in the Expo Hall, where you can see these tools in action as well as many, many more!!
