Starts February 10, 2013 and runs until January 30, 2014

People born in the year of the snake may become philosophers, theologians, politicians, or cunning financiers. Certainly they have a way with money! The snake is the most enigmatic of the twelve zodiac animals.

Fu Baoshi ~ Master Painter

Last month I showed you my 'First Brush' of 2013 which was a modern Fu Baoshi type painting. I also told you I would blog about this amazing Chinese master painter.

I call Fu Baoshi the 'painter of mist'. When you look at his landscape paintings, you are drawn into the scene by the mist and feel as if you could almost touch and feel it with your hands and not just view the mist with your eyes..

Fu Baoshi (傅抱石, 1904-1965) was a Chinese painter from Xinyu (新余), Jiangxi Province. Credited with revolutionizing Chinese ink painting, Fu is perhaps the most original figure painter and landscapist of China's modern period, and one of the most important Chinese artists of the 20th century.

Hello Everyone!

It's me, Gabe, your favorite service dog. Casey and I will be starting our duties teaching at the college for the new Spring 2013 semester very soon. I am Casey's assistant professor so I'll be working hard to earn my kibble!

There is a fundraising event on Maui for my training school that I'd like to tell you about.

February 10, 2013 Gannan's Restaurant 5:30pm
This is a huge fancy event with a live and silent auction! The proceeds from this event go to raise and train more super dogs like me.
