Alabama & Bus Trip from Atlanta
The last day of the Georgia legislative session is this Thursday, March 28.
While we are hopeful that we will defeat anti-choice legislation here, it is important to remember that the fight for women's reproductive health will not end on Thursday. If you would like to continue to make a difference, please consider joining the ACLU of Alabama and Planned Parenthood Southeast next Tuesday, April 2nd, as they lobby against anti-choice legislation in Alabama that will close ALL abortion clinics in the state!
The Alabama proposal places onerous, medically unnecessary regulations on health clinics that provide abortions that are not imposed on other medical facilities. This is designed to close clinics in Alabama by creating regulations they cannot meet. It's time to let legislators in Alabama know that "Enough is Enough" -- women's healthcare decisions should be left to a woman, her family and her faith with the counsel of her doctor. This would affect our entire region, not just those in Alabama.

What: Bus trip to Montgomery for Women's Day Rally and Lobby Day
When: April 2nd, 2013 leaving Atlanta at 9:00am, returning by 8:00pm
Where: Departing from C.W.A. Local 3204: 279 Logan St. SE Atlanta, GA 30312 (free, secured parking for the day)
