How Does Your Investment in United Way of Laramie County Help Neighbors in Crisis and Strengthen Local Families?
INCOME STABILITY
There are two aspects our INCOME partners work on with Laramie County families:
  1. Basic needs - food, shelter, clothing, etc. as well as disaster preparedness.
  2. INCOME STABILITY! An important piece of strengthening families is providing them with the financial management, life skills, role models and education opportunities that allow them to move into better paying jobs, become homeowners and become independent. 
At United Way of Laramie County we believe in creating lasting change in our community. These are just a few of the positive changes that happened because of our income programs in 2013 in Laramie County:

INITIATIVES
At United Way of Laramie County we not only work with existing organizations to make our community stronger but we also look for additional ways to solve the most pressing issues in our community. Wyoming FrWyoming Free Tax Serviceee Tax Service is a partnership between the Internal Revenue Service, Laramie County Community College and United Way of Laramie County. This free yearly service is one more way we are helping families become income stable.
