SOCIAL INNOVATION RELAY 2014
Get inspired by real life social entrepreneurs!

Dear Educator,

Social innovations can be seen all around us, they are those fantastic ideas that tackle needs and improve the quality of life for individuals and communities.

The Social Innovation Relay (SIR)  encourages students(aged 15-19) to develop business concepts that address social needs in innovative ways.  .

SIR encourages students to think like Social Innovators whilst developing a host of skills that will help them be innovative, entrepreneurial and socially responsible employees and business people in the future.

The 2013 SIR was won by the Youth Innovators team from Strawberry Field World School, Chandigarh, India for their idea of developing a revolutionary, eco-friendly and low cost building material "Green Wood" out of rice husk waste.

This year it could be students from your school! Learn more
