Dear Friends,

I am Bisman Deu, a class 10 student studying in Strawberry Fields World School, Chandigarh and JA India student. I am a part of the Team Youth Innovators that won the Social Innovation Relay 2013, an international competition sponsored by HP.

Winning the SIR competition landed us with a golden chance to attend JA-YE Alumni Europe 10th International Conference in Tallinn, Estonia. I was hugely impressed by the Alumni and the work they were doing and wanted to set-up the same here in India. They inspire, empower and challenge young students to take the entrepreneurial path.

JA Alumni can be anyone who have participated in JA work readiness and entrepreneurship programs and/or competitions.  JA Alumni are young people who can truly go far beyond the narrow frames of local perception, who can think and act globally and have the commitment to make a difference.

The aim of the JA Alumni is to instil in young students enthusiasm, passion and inner drive to fully commit themselves to the further expansion of JA and its emergence into a completely new stage of relationships.

I invite you to join us, share your knowledge, experiences and inspire other fellow students to be part of JA. I have set-up a Facebook page for our alumni which will help us to communicate with each other and stay abreast of Alumni initiatives and events. Please like this page to show your support for our young initiative.

This endeavour will not be possible without your active participation. Looking forward to your support.

Regards,

Bisman Deu
