Greetings!

Summer has been a busy time for A Sacred Moment as more families learn about and are choosing Home Funeral Vigils and Green Burials.

Read below about this trend in the NY Times article recently published.  If you're in the Seattle area this weekend, you can hear Char Barrett speak at Edmonds Unitarian Church Sunday morning and if you miss that opportunity you may want to check out classes she will be teaching at Lake Washington Technical College this Fall.  We've also included information about the National Green & Home Funeral Conference being held October 3rd in Boulder Colorado.  Char will be one of the featured speakers at this national gathering of Home Funeral & Green Burial educators and advocates.

Be watching for a survey to arrive later this summer from A Sacred Moment asking for your input regarding the kind of news and information you would appreciate hearing about in future newsletters.  Enjoy your summer!
