On Sunday, March 22, more than 130 youth and adults from across the presbytery came together at First Presbyterian Church of Glendale to pack food for Childhood Food Solutions.

The food will go to food insecure children to get them through spring break when they don't have access to breakfast or lunch at school.

It was a wonderful gathering of youth from small, medium, and large churches - from inner city, suburban and rural churches - from Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky - of all races and ethnicities - of middle class, poor and rich families - conservative, moderate and liberal people. This is the church of Christ as it should be - a place where people leave behind our differences and come together focused on our common mission. - Jill Moormann (Knox)
