Dear Members, Neighbors, and Friends,

Many of you have received our annual membership renewal in your mailbox. (If you haven't, you are not on our mail list. Call or email the office today to get on!) I invite you to renew your Naromi membership or to become a member for the very first time. If you haven't been a supporting member of Naromi in the past, make now the time to make a healthy choice for you, and for Sherman, by getting involved with Naromi today.

Naromi has been focused, since 1968, on its mission of preserving forever areas which make Sherman so special: farmland, scenic vistas, stream corridors, forest wildlife habitats; and with a goal of enjoyment by all ages, and use of these areas.  An expanded hiking trail network, the beautiful boardwalk, wide-open farm fields, protected habitats showing exciting species growth, and a robust calendar of family-friendly outdoor activities have all been the result.

Thanks to your membership support, we have a lot to report on from the past year and much to look forward to in 2014. We have had a calendar brimming with events to encourage people to enjoy our natural world and lead a healthier lifestyle, like hikes, paddling, volunteer work days, bird events, bear education and our Annual Meeting and Picnic. I am happy to report that many of these are joint events with other area groups.  In 2014, these activities will continue and expand.

Join us for the fun and to support our mission. Visit our website to sign up for our informative monthly eNewsletter; get involved; and most importantly, to become a member (at naromi.org, click on  Support). Each and every one of you and your families are important to helping Naromi Land Trust keep us "Forever. Sherman."

Gratefully,

Eagles!
We are working to coordinate a trip to view the eagles at the Shepaug Dam this January.  We will publish details here, on our website, and on Facebook as soon as is possible.  We had a wonderful trip there last year.
