            What's New This Week?
 
Pregnancy Mentor

Matrix Pregnancy Resource Center is looking for volunteers to mentor clients/couples through their pregnancy and early parenting by taking them through a 12 week series of classes. Time commitment is 1 hour per week and the time varies based on schedule of the client and volunteer. Training provided. Volunteer requirements include being understanding, non-judgmental  and a good listener.

Food Pantry Assistant

Lafayette Transitional Housing Center operates the largest food pantry in Tippecanoe County. They need volunteers to help stock the shelves, provide customer service, and check guest in/out. The pantry is open 4 days per week, at different hours. Training is provided. If interested, visit volunteer center website or contact Christina, choward@lthc.net or 423-4880.  

Still Needed 
Delivery Service Volunteers

Meals on Wheels deliver hot, nutritious meals to over 140 people each day who have no other means of accessing nutritious food!  

 

They are seeking drivers to help deliver meals to 10 short routes, Mondays through Fridays to those individuals throughout the community.

Volunteers need to commit to at least one day per month to drive. The hours on delivery days are 10:45 am - 12:30 pm.
