Haan Museum need Volunteers
After the tours and the season has finished, the Haan Museum will need volunteers to help put away decorations. The tear-down schedule will be: December 31 from 10 am to 4 pm; Dec 30 and Jan 2 & 3 any time after 10 am except for 5 to 7 pm.
Motivated, Organized Person Wanted
 Community Cancer Network is looking for someone who is experienced in fund raising events for non- profit agencies and can get on board with their cause. You will be mentored throughout the 9 month process in addition, you will have subcommittee members who have helped on this fund raiser in the past and who are quite adept and experienced. Prepare and Serve a Meal for the Homeless
Lafayette Transitional Housing Center provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday, for people in our community who are homeless. On Wednesdays, LTHC provides a "Community Dinner" for anyone who wants to enjoy a meal. Meals are served at predetermined times: Breakfast, 8-9am, Lunch, 12pm-12:30pm, and Dinner, 5pm-5:30pm. If your family or group would like to provide a meal, contact Christina, choward@lthc.net or 423-4880 to schedule.
Bell Ringers
The Salvation Army's annual kettle campaign is beginning November 22.  More than ever, volunteers are needed to help ring the bells and raise funds to assist those in need in the community. Groups, businesses, families, and individuals are welcome to sign up. All it takes is a friendly smile, a ring of the bell, and a warm "thank you" to those who give.
