2013 Sprint Wabash River Sampling Blitz 

Wabash River Enhancement Corporation is looking for groups or individuals to help sample 200+ sites on tributaries draining to the Wabash River from 3-5 pm on Friday, April 19th. No training or equipment required. If interested, email Jessica at jfulgoni@wabashriver.net or call her at 765-420-8505. 


Volunteers Needed for Hunger Study

Food Finders Food Bank is a part of a nationwide 2014 Hunger in America study on domestic hunger and are looking for dozens of volunteers willing to conduct client surveys.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • attend training session (TBD)
  • work 3-5 shifts between April - August
  • have reliable transportation
  • be available to contact through phone and email.

The Tippecanoe County Chapter of the American Red Cross is looking for volunteers to solicit donations in two hour shifts, 10am- 12pm or 12pm - 2pm at area Wal-Marts as part of the Heroes campaign.

Ivy Tech Community College 
The Lafayette Ivy Tech Dental Assisting Students are holding the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30. The public is welcome to attend to attend this fundraiser for student scholarships and support the Dental Assisting program.

 If you have an annual income of $50,000 or less, VITA will prepare your taxes for FREE. This program will be running through April 15.
  
VITA is specifically designed to aid people with low-to-moderate incomes in filing their taxes. Mobile sites at convenient locations are available to ease this process for you.
