Greetings!

When we first walked through the models at 10 Rittenhouse, we were just amazed by the view.  Add to that, a beautiful floor plan with quality construction.  However, it just didn't feel like home.  We set to work to give this model a traditional feeling to make buyers and visitors feel at home.

The foyer seemed a bit cold and not as elegant as this home wanted to be.  We took the casual foyer table and moved it to the family room (more about that in the next newsletter).  We added a mirror, new table and some upscale accessories.  The artwork took on a musical theme to reflect the beautiful baby grand player piano that called us to the living room.

Next we considered the way we would like to entertain in this living room.  Of course the view of Rittenhouse Square was so impressive that we wanted to feature it as much as we could.  By adding new furniture in a cozy conversational seating arrangement, we made this a room where people wanted to stay and talk.  Instead of chairs with backs to the window, we added a bench where anyone would like to sit for a minute or a while.

I just couldn't even enter that room without spending at least a few minutes on that bench.  We added warmth to the room with a rich beige.  We kept the palette neutral so that nothing would compete with the city skyline.  The window treatments softened and framed that spectacular view. New artwork and a rich heirloom carpet completed the look.

Now everyone who enters this home is impressed and feels welcome.  How do you want to feel in your home?
