To Market, To Market....
At least once a year (and sometimes twice), I like to attend the High Point Furniture Market in High Point, North Carolina.  This sleepy little town comes alive for two weeks of the year when people from all over the world come to display their furniture, accessories, lamps artwork and rugs to those of us "in the trade".  Lindsay accompanied me there and we were very focused with the places that we wanted to visit.  It is a whirlwind of activity that gives us the latest products and colors in our industry.  While it is an exhausting and very busy trip, we always come home with new things for our showroom and new ideas for our clients..
One of the hot colors this year is orange!  We saw it everywhere and used in all sorts of creative ways.  Sometimes it was just an accent with flowers or vases.  Sometimes it was the feature color in a sofa.  All shades of orange might just add some new spark to a room in your home.


Blue was also a big hit--in various hues.  We saw a lot of aqua and every other shade of blue.  It plays nicely with the orange too

 
Comfort is always in style.  We only consider well made, comfortable upholstery that is made to last.  We are very particular about the lines that we carry because we feel very strongly about you feeling great in your home.  We spend a lot of time sitting on chairs and sofas so that you can be sure that you are getting the right product to help you love your home even more.
 
French themed artwork and furniture dominated the neutral color palette.  We saw a lot of antique looking furniture that was very soothing and had an eclectic twist. 

  
 
   


Furniture is becoming much more user friendly now.  The industry is beginning to catch up with the technology and the big wall unit for the TV is being replaced with some wonderful options.  Bedroom drawers often have outlets for all of our charging station
