Art Unleashed 2013 Sets Fundraising, Attendance Records
The fifth annual Art Unleashed exhibition and sale, held April 10 - 13 in Hamilton Hall, raised more than $400,000, a record amount that will benefit the Sam. S. McKeel Promising Young Artists Scholarship Fund. The Preview Party set another record, with more than 700 registered guests enjoying great art, food, wine and entertainment. With the diverse work of our talented students, alumni and faculty as a backdrop, this year's Art Unleashed Preview Party also featured performances by School of Music students in Solmssen Court and our bucket-drum ensemble Rumble, who welcomed guests from the Hamilton Hall steps. Rumble also participated with Dance students in pop-up performances across the city for several weeks prior to Art Unleashed, chronicled by students in the Film/Video program.
