 Meet Angelica Espinoza
Medical receptionist and patient assistant
The list of Angelica's responsibilities at the Clinic could fill a page. She works with doctors and patients all day, as a medical receptionist and patient assistant.
"I love helping the patient and doctor explore the other services the Clinic offers. While I'm translating for a Spanish-speaking patient or when I am checking a patient out, I will often think of something they might really benefit from - like a visit with the chiropractor or a nutrition class. Since I know the schedules and the availability of all the providers, I can make these connections for the patients and doctors. I like to help make the most of the wonderful resources we have in the Clinic."
Our patients love Angelica, and the Clinic is so grateful for her compassion and skills.

Atticus Books & Teahouse helps the Clinic's literacy efforts Over $1,000 donated from used book sales
We believe a literate child will grow into a healthier adult.
Last year, our Reach Out and Read program was in great need of funds. We had given over 600 books to our young patients and visitors in 2011 and didn't have a steady source of income. Clinic volunteer Melissa Band worked with Ericah at Atticus Books and Teahouse to encourage folks to bring in their used books to sell and donate the proceeds to the Clinic. Thanks to their efforts, a lot of very deserving kids will be going home with books of their very own.
So, drink more tea on Lower Main Street, and take your used books along. . Click here to assist this effort.
