Youth Updates

The Task Force on the Study of Marriage has released resources for the study and discussion of marriage.
The Task Force explains "This topic is of historic and timeless significance for the church; practices of marriage are undergoing social change in our own day; and our church, acting through resolution A050 at General Convention in 2012, asked that we develop tools for discussion on this subject."

These resources will be available on our Diocesan web page under Parish and Clergy Resources (locate the Resources tab under the Diocesan page banner, then in the drop down go to Parish Resources ---> Marriage Resources or Clergy Resources ---> Marriage Guidelines).

For more information, please view this article at The Episcopal Church website.

Notes from The Rev. Hilary West,
Missioner in Mexico

The Rev. Hilary West will be sharing items with News and Notes about life in Mexico, her ministry and more. Ms. West lives in Santiago de Querétaro and has been ministering to the people there for 13 years. She sent this heartwarming video about Biblioburro, the donkey library. Luis Soriano, a teacher in La Gloria, Columbia, has spent 10 years bringing books to the children of rural areas on the back of his donkey. Even though the video is set in Columbia, it could be anywhere! The love of reading is a passion worth sharing.
